Pathways

Pathways is a program administered by UNM Health Sciences that works to reduce the unmet needs of clients, improve their mental and physical health conditions, and connect clients with resources and support systems. UVNR staff has worked with Pathways for the past five years, serving as Pathway Navigators to the refugee community.

Pathway Navigators assist their clients in building connections and accessing resources in the following areas:

o   General Health

o   Education

o   Social Issues

o   Legal Issues

o   Employment

o   Family Care

o   Medical Services

o   Health Disabilities

o   Addiction

o   Mental and Behavioral Health

In 2020, UVNR developed a successful collaborative application for renewal of our contract with Centro Sávila, New Mexico Immigrant Law Center, Encuentro, and ACCESS, which will provide up to $60,000 in funding over five years.
