
Justin was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 1996, he fled toRwanda, then in 2024 he resettled in Albuquerque, USA, as a refugee.
Justin is asocial worker and project management professional with more than 11 years working with international nonprofit organizations in the field of humanitarian assistance, child protection, and development programming.
Justin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the National University of Rwanda and completed professional course in Narrative Therapy and Community Work at theUniversity of Rwanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences. He possesses strong technical expertise in project coordination, social work, psychosocial support, and resource development, complemented by skills in interpretation and translation to facilitate effective program implementation.
Justin, has contributed to the reintegration of Rwandan orphans and street-connected children into biological and foster families, helping restore stability, dignity, and long-term care.
Justin’s professional journey reflects a deep commitment to humanitarian values, resilience, and the empowerment of vulnerable populations. His passion is empowering families and creating change in the community through the community itself, because he believes people are the true experts in their own hardships.
